The Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs was established to acknowledge the critical role that communication plays in public health.
Open Positions and Description
1. Chief of Party
- They will serve as the main point of contact for reporting and establishing connections with the President’s Office, Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG), the Ministry of Health (MOH), the USAID/Tanzania Mission, and project and implementing partners.
2. Deputy Chief of Party

- They will support the Chief of Party (COP) in their reporting and interactions with MOH, PO-RALG, USAID/Tanzania, and other partners. The DCOP will oversee the project technically and make sure that it complies with Johns Hopkins University (JHU) and USAID procedures.
3. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Director
- Leading the creation and execution of the Activity Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Plan (AMELP) and related monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems will be the MEL Director.
4. Director of Social and Behavior Change
- They will direct the creation of SBC tools, resources, and tactics in addition to supervising the planning and execution of SBC initiatives.
5. Finance and Administrative Director
- Assuring proper management of financial resources, they will assist the COP with financial reporting and adherence to USAID and Johns Hopkins University (JHU) rules.
