Key Responsibilities
- Make sure that procedures and safeguards are in place to guarantee the integrity and correctness of any office data.
- Prior to paying employees and suppliers, make sure all necessary paperwork is in order.
- Help in gathering the data needed for both internal and external audits.
- File financial records in a methodical manner.
- Help with financial report preparation in compliance with applicable accounting rules.
- Accounts payable reconciliation.
- To guarantee appropriate financial responsibility, reconcile staff cash advances and cash floats.
- Make sure you promptly submit withholding payments to the Tanzania Revenue Authority.
- Keep the organization inventory and asset registration up to date in NetSuite.
- Prepare bank reconciliations by analyzing bank statements and comparing them to general ledger entries.
- After the cash count, weekly petty cash certificates are prepared and managed.
- Examine employee-submitted travel advance charges and correctly recode them in accounting.
- Complete all authorized transactions correctly and promptly enter them into the accounting system.
- Assist area offices with any issues pertaining to accounting.
- Examine the payments that are coming in from accounts receivable and going out from accounts payable.
- Help the financial manager get ready for the annual or monthly closure procedure.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Relationship and Alignment:

Education Qualification and Experience:
- It is necessary to have a university degree in finance or accounting.
- Strong technical understanding of both local and international financial reporting standards and compliances, including GAAP and IPSAS, as well as a solid understanding of accounting and financial management.
- A minimum of one year of financial management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint) and knowledge of accounting and financial information systems
