In order to meet clients and guests at our office, we are seeking a receptionist. In addition to answering phones and collecting messages, you will be responsible for sorting and distributing mail, directing clients to other areas of the office, and alerting staff members regarding guests. You must have strong verbal and writing communication skills as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office programs like Word and Excel in order to succeed in this position. It also helps to have previous receptionist experience.

  • Carrying out ad hoc administrative tasks.
  • Taking calls, transferring them, and filtering them.
  • Distributing and sorting mail.
  • Recruiting, supervising, and training the junior administrative staff.
  • Deliver top-notch client support.
  • Making an appointment.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s or associate’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Previous experience working as a receptionist or in a similar capacity.
  • A professional demeanor and attire that is constant.
  • Exceptional communication skills both in writing and speaking.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software.
  • Strong time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with secretarial and administrative processes.
  • Able to constructively contribute to a team environment and assist with a variety of responsibilities as needed.
