How to Check NSC Exam Results 2024 Online
You can check the results of the National Senior Certificate (NSC) examination at any time by following the instructions in this article.
- Important information: The February/March supplemental exam is no longer available since it has been rolled out. In May and June, there is a new exam accessible for students to finish outstanding results or improve their scores on. The application period for 2024 ends on February 8, 2024.

Release of 2023 NSC Results
The 2023 National Senior Certificate examinations ended on December 6, 2023, and the results were revealed on January 18, 2024, by Mrs. Angie Motshekga, the Minister of Basic Education. Candidates will receive the results on January 19, 2024. A few results might not be accessible due to technical problems.
- It is strongly advised that candidates obtain their results statements from the institution or examination center where they took the exams. Results for the candidates will also be accessible on this website starting on January 19, 2024, at 6 a.m.
- Results inquiries must be submitted for review and inquiry within 30 days following the results’ release.
- Before February 21, 2024, candidates must make sure that their names and identity numbers appear accurately on their statement of results and report to the Department any necessary corrections.

- The USSD code is *120*35658#. Follow the steps provided, enter your ID number and get your results per subject.
- When you register for matric results using the SMS, send your ID and exam number to 35658.
- You will receive a confirmation message with your marks.
- For the mobile phone service, charges are applicable.

Your matric results are also available on internet news portals. On the day the government reveals the grades, several websites post the results. They just indicate whether or not you passed; they are not complete grades.
From your school
To find out your scores, you can also visit your school. These represent your grades for each course. These are not official grades, though you will receive the printed grades in a few months.
