HJF’s support and administrative capabilities allow military medical researchers and clinicians to maintain their scientific focus and accomplish their research goals.

1. Human Resources Assistant

It is necessary to have a bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a similar discipline.

To help with human resources planning, hiring and selection, talent management, performance management, function evaluation, rewards, well-being, training and development, compliance, health and safety, employee relations and resolving employee complaints, record keeping, HR audits, etc., HJFMRI is looking for a Human Resources Assistant.

2. District Program Lead

A doctor of medicine (MD) degree is necessary. It is preferred to have postgraduate training in infectious diseases, internal medicine, or public health.

In their respective district or council, the incumbent oversees the design and execution of numerous projects and activities to meet the aims and objectives set by HJFMRI Tanzania. This includes carrying out fundamental M&E tasks to keep an eye on HIV care and treatment programs.

3. Accounting Assistant

In order to support the accounting staff and ensure HJFMRI complies with Tanzanian tax laws and donor/USG standards, HJFMRI is looking to hire an accounting assistant.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

4. Associate Director,Research

complies with sponsor and regulatory standards by making certain that all correspondence with research sponsors and regulatory bodies is carried out efficiently and promptly.

Master’s Degree is required. Doctoral Degree in Nursing or related scientific discipline is preferred.

5. Research Assistant I

The research assistant is also in charge of running the lab on a daily basis, which includes organizing, cleaning, preparing reagents, and keeping inventory current.

Knowledge of standard laboratory techniques.

6. Database Administrator II

May help with the REDCap electronic data capture system’s design, development, implementation, and management of data collection solutions.

Minimum of 6-8 years experience required.
