The roles
In order to guarantee the timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, statutory payments, and other deductions, the payroll administrator oversees the organization’s payroll function and implements, maintains, and evaluates accounting and payroll processing systems.
The administrator generates and keeps correct payroll transaction records and reports; he is a hands-on worker. collects bills and communicates with the accounting departments on prompt payment; enables prompt reporting, financial analysis, and the opening and closure of monthly payroll; guarantees adherence to relevant labor and tax regulations as well as industry best practices; helps with audits by giving auditors records and documents.
The payroll administrator is a crucial member of the team who also assists the HR personnel with other financial-related matters.
The candidate
- It requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, commerce, or a similar discipline.
- It is necessary to have at least three to five years of relevant experience.
- Tanzanian NBAA registration (extra benefit)
- Possesses a thorough understanding of payroll duties, such as internal control, payroll taxes, balance, and preparation.
- Is adept at using payroll software; knowledge of ARUTI is a bonus.
- Has outstanding attention to detail and organizing abilities.
- Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
