BIOTAN GROUP LIMITED is a processor and exporter of organic cashew nuts. We are working with smallholder farmers and cooperatives as the supplier of cashew nuts to our processing facility. Our farmers are certified organic according to EU and NOP regulation. Our processing facility is based at Kisemvule/Mkuranga District.
We are looking for a responsible storekeeper to manage our inventory and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate records. This role requires teamwork and a commitment to ensuring the efficient flow of goods in and out of the store.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Unpack, label, and store incoming goods in designated locations.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and transactions.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or shipment to customers.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks and duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Stores Management or equivalent.
- Minimum experience of three years in Store’s department
- Proven experience as a storekeeper, warehouse clerk, or similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.
